Black and white-The true black Malamute has all black or black tipped guard hairs. True blacks must have black undercoat.

Grey and white- Clearly dark grey from the distance rather than "black", the grey Malamute has black tipped guard hairs with very little white base with a white undercoat.

Bluegrey and white- The blue Malamute is a unique and rarely seen color. Unike the traditional grey, the blue has black tipped guard hairs intermingled with all white hairs plus a white undercoat.

Wolfgrey and white- The wolfgrey Malamute differs from the traditional grey by the action of the dilute gene which causes black or grey tipped guard hairs with white base and a white undercoat.

Silver and white- Dilute genes lend the silver Malamute a very light grey color. Grey tipped guard hairs with a long white base and white undercoat all add to the silvery color.
