Since 1996, NMPR has served the registration needs of smaller Morgans. We register Morgan and Morgan-crosses of any size) with special status for purebreds under 14.2 hands. AGE RELATED QUESTIONS The most common age related question we receive has to deal with placing youngsters (under 3yrs old) in our Exception status. This is only to ensure registration into proper status when mature. Although both parents of a prospect may be ponysized - due to the Varigies of qenetics and environment, sometimes an offspring can mature substantially larger than its parents. Even the foal of two very small Morgan ponies must begin under "X" status if less than 3yrs old at time of application.
