Why does the share weight vary each week?
All vegetables have a growing season. Each species and variety will mature at a different time, that is why early spring shares are smaller and generally contain primarly greens. Later shares will begin to add early cole crops such as broccoli, with zucchini and cucumbers following. By fall the shares are rather large with the final week comprising shares of the harvest of the root crops such as potatoes and the final harvests of tomatoes and etc..
